             David Steinhaus, MD
             Professor of Medicine/Cardiac Electrophysiology
             University of Missouri School of Medicine - Kansas City
             Immediate Past President, International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners
                Dr. Steinhaus will lead a stimulating evening discussion on the history of electricity as a
                    feasible modality in heart disease, exploring intitial emperic trials from anciet times progressing
                    to the modern scientific era, Highlights from key technological innovations in biomedical
                    engineering and scientific thought reveal how electrotherapy offers relief from cardiac 
                    disability, and enhances survival among the most severely impaired heart patients.
