The Renaud Society Cellar Door

Presenters have been invited by virtue of their special interest and knowledge of specific wines and wine cultures.

Presentations will be carried via the Zoom Platform (www.zoom.us).

Presenters will need a computer or tablet with connectivity and a camera.

Presentations will last for 30 - 45 minutes including time for audience participation, questions, comments, etc. The object of FICB is to:

The format will be. . . . . .

•  the presenter to be introduced by the moderator
• the presenter will provide a personal statement, history, etc.
• 3 wines will be introduced showing off the bottles, labels, etc
• Wines will be opened and tasted with spontaneous descriptions of the wine characteristics, etc. Crackers, cheese, or other foods, etc., may be used to demonstrate how the wines may best be enjoyed.
•  Wines will be identified beforehand, so participants can purchase or otherwise obtain the wines to taste along.
•  We suggest that the presenter identify a quiet place to present, has appropriate glassware present, demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the wines tasted including vineyards, producers, climate and terroir, price and availability, be in a jovial mood :-), and offer other particulars about the wines that would be important for its enjoyment.
